What it is
A 3×3 grid where every row and column is a team or an achievement, and each square wants a player who fits both. Baseball came first; Sports Reference, the company behind Baseball Reference, now runs grids for basketball, football, hockey and soccer too. You get nine guesses, one per square, and a player can only be used once.
Why it's like Krillion
It is the best-known game that scores rarity the way Krillion does. Alongside your score out of nine you get a rarity score built from how few other players picked the same names, so a correct but forgotten utility infielder is worth far more than the obvious superstar. That moment of landing an answer nobody else thought of is exactly the Krillion feeling.
What's different
It is sports only, and every answer has to satisfy two conditions at once. You search for players instead of typing against a 25-second clock, there is no time limit per square, and rarity comes from what that day's players actually chose rather than from a curated answer sheet.
